It's easy to get your Life Insurance sorted...

Insurers will consider you a smoker if you have smoked or used any tobacco related products (including nicotine patches or e-cigarettes) within the last 12 months.

If you choose to include a second person, your cover will be set up as a joint policy. In this case, the life insurance would pay out if one of you dies, but it would not pay upon the death of the second person. If you require cover that could pay out upon the death of both individuals, you would need to take out two separate policies.

If you include critical illness cover with a joint policy, it would pay out if one of you were diagnosed with a critical illness covered by the policy. However, it would not pay out again if the second person were diagnosed with a critical illness.

Level term insurance

The amount of life Insurance and critical illness (if chosen) will remain the same throughout the term of the policy.

Decreasing mortgage life insurance

The cover amount will reduce and should meet the outstanding balance of a standard repayment mortgage.

Family income benefit

Rather than providing a lump sum, this policy will provide regular monthly income from the time of the claim to the end of the plan term.

If you choose to include critical illness cover, your policy will pay out upon death or diagnosis of a critical illness.
